Apple Launches New Mac Mini and Mac Studio in India With Powerful M6 and M5 Chips

Apple has refreshed its Mac Mini and Mac Studio lineup in India with new processors, upgraded AI capabilities and improved connectivity. The new Mac Mini starts at Rs 99,900, while the Mac Studio starts at Rs 2,79,900. Both devices will go on sale from September 22, with pre-orders expected to begin shortly.

The 2026 Mac Mini is available with Apple’s M6 and M5 Pro chips. The M6 model features a 12-core CPU, 12-core GPU, dual 16-core Neural Engine and 16GB of unified memory, configurable up to 32GB. It also offers memory bandwidth of up to 170GB/s.

The M5 Pro version delivers even greater performance with up to an 18-core CPU, a 20-core GPU and support for up to 64GB of unified memory. It also offers up to 307GB/s of memory bandwidth.

Apple has upgraded connectivity across the new Mac Mini range with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and 2.5Gb Ethernet. The M6 version includes Thunderbolt 4 ports, while the M5 Pro model gets Thunderbolt 5 support.

Meanwhile, the new Mac Studio arrives with M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips. The M5 Max offers up to an 18-core CPU and 40-core GPU, while the M5 Ultra can be configured with up to a 36-core CPU, 80-core GPU and 512GB of unified memory.

The refreshed Mac Studio also features faster PCIe Gen 6 SSD storage and can support up to eight external displays.
