Akshay Kumar’s Security Escort Vehicle Involved in Mumbai Accident; One Injured

A vehicle from the security entourage of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was involved in a road accident in Mumbai’s Juhu area late Monday night, leaving one person injured, according to police officials.

The incident occurred near Mukteshwar Road when an autorickshaw was struck by a speeding luxury car, causing the three-wheeler to collide with a vehicle that was part of the actor’s security convoy. The autorickshaw driver sustained injuries and was immediately taken to hospital for treatment.

Police clarified that Akshay Kumar’s own car was not involved in the collision. The actor had been returning home with his wife Twinkle Khanna from the airport following an overseas trip when the incident occurred elsewhere in the convoy.

Authorities have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the driver of the luxury vehicle allegedly responsible for triggering the chain collision. An investigation is currently underway to determine the exact sequence of events.

No other injuries were reported in the incident.
