Monalisa on Feeling Sidelined in The 50

Actor Monalisa, who was recently eliminated from the reality show The 50, has spoken about her experience inside the house, saying she felt sidelined by fellow television actors.

Monalisa had entered the show with her husband, Vikrant Rajpoot. In a recent interview, she reflected on her journey, alliances inside the house, and controversies involving other contestants.

On Her Elimination

Monalisa said she found the format challenging, especially because contestants voted each other out.

She stated that if the audience had been involved in voting, the outcome might have been different. According to her, many contestants entered the show with pre-existing bonds, making it difficult for her to form strong alliances.

She described the environment as one where large groups were already formed, which made it hard to find her own space.

Outside Controversies Inside the House

The actor also commented on contestants bringing past issues into the show. Referring to disputes involving other participants, she said she did not have any outside conflicts to carry into the house, which may have limited dramatic confrontations linked to her.

Monalisa added that while the experience was valuable, she did not want to stay in a space where she felt dependent on others for survival in the game.

Feeling ‘Unwelcomed’

Monalisa said she felt unwelcomed by some television actors on the show.

She noted that she had experienced something similar earlier during her stint on Bigg Boss, when she felt she was not fully accepted within established groups.

Despite having worked across industries for several years, she said she sometimes feels she is still seen primarily through the lens of being a Bhojpuri actor. While interactions remained polite, she said deeper bonds did not develop.

On Rajat Dalal’s Comments

Reacting to remarks made by fellow contestant Rajat Dalal about her husband, Monalisa said she was upset that the comments were allegedly made behind their backs.

She expressed that if there were concerns, they should have been discussed openly. According to her, such situations can be hurtful when viewed later.

On Plastic Surgery Remarks

Monalisa also responded to comments made about Nikki Tamboli regarding plastic surgery.

She said personal appearance choices are individual decisions and should not be judged negatively. In her view, whether someone chooses gym workouts, makeup, or medical procedures, it remains a personal matter.

Moving Forward

Despite her early exit, Monalisa described the show as a learning experience. She said it allowed her and her husband to present themselves as individuals with different personalities.

For now, she remains positive about her journey and expressed hope that viewers saw her authentic side during her time on the show.
