Alia Bhatt Nears Completion of Love & War Shoot

Actor Alia Bhatt has shared an update on her upcoming film Love & War, revealing that the project is nearing completion.

The actor, who recently attended Milan Fashion Week as a Gucci ambassador, spoke about the film during a conversation with Vogue Italia. She said the shoot is now in its final phase.

‘A Magical Experience’

Alia described working on Love & War as a “magical experience.” The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, marking her second collaboration with the filmmaker after the 2022 hit Gangubai Kathiawadi.

“Working with Sanjay sir is a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Alia said, adding that she feels grateful to be part of the project.

Star Cast and Production

Apart from Alia, the film also features Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in key roles.

Since its announcement, Love & War has generated strong anticipation among fans. However, there has been speculation around its release date.

The film was initially slated for a Christmas 2025 release. It was later moved to March 20, 2026. Recent reports suggest a further delay, with some indicating a 2027 release window. While there is no officially confirmed new date, the makers have indicated that the film remains scheduled for release in 2026.

Alia’s Recent Work

Alia’s last theatrical release was Jigra in 2024. With Love & War entering its final shooting phase, fans can expect further updates on post-production and release plans in the coming months.

For now, the actor appears focused on wrapping up filming and celebrating what she calls a special creative journey under Bhansali’s direction.
