20th Rozgar Mela: 51,000 Appointment Letters Distributed Across India
More than 51,000 appointment letters were distributed at the 20th Rozgar Mela across 45 locations, taking the total number of recruits to nearly 12.75 lakh.
The 20th edition of the Rozgar Mela saw more than 51,000 appointment letters distributed to newly recruited candidates across 45 locations in India. The selected recruits will join various central government ministries and departments.
The new appointments cover departments including Railways, Home Affairs, Defence, Health and Family Welfare, Revenue and Financial Services. The programme is aimed at expanding employment opportunities and bringing more young people into government service.
With this latest round, nearly 12.75 lakh young people have received government appointment letters through the Rozgar Mela initiative so far. The programme has become a recurring platform for handing over appointment letters to newly selected recruits across different parts of the country.
The initiative also highlights the government’s focus on recruitment across multiple sectors of public administration, from transport and defence to healthcare, taxation and financial services.
For thousands of candidates, the appointment letter is more than just another government document—it is the “finally got the job” moment after months or years of exams, applications and waiting.
