The Times of India Gadgets Now Awards 2025 celebrated the best consumer technology products of the year at a high-profile event attended by industry leaders, designers and public personalities.

The ceremony honoured top innovations across smartphones, laptops, wearables, audio products, home entertainment and AI-powered devices.

Samsung Dominates Smartphone Categories

Samsung emerged as the biggest winner of the night. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra won both Editor’s Choice and People’s Choice for Best Smartphone of the Year.

In the foldable category, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 swept both awards. The Samsung Galaxy S25 secured the People’s Choice award in the premium smartphone segment.

Meanwhile, the Apple iPhone 17 won Editor’s Choice for Best Premium Smartphone.

For camera performance, the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL received Editor’s Choice, while Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra took the People’s Choice in the same category.

Affordable and Gaming Smartphone Winners

In the affordable segment, the Nothing Phone 3(a) won Editor’s Choice, while the Samsung Galaxy A17 was selected as People’s Choice.

For gaming performance, the Vivo T4 Ultra earned Editor’s Choice and the OnePlus 15R won the People’s Choice award.

Laptops and AI-Powered Devices

In computing, the HP OmniBook Flip X won Editor’s Choice for Best Laptop of the Year, while the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro secured People’s Choice.

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro also won Editor’s Choice for Best AI-Powered Gadget, highlighting the growing importance of AI integration in personal computing.

For gaming laptops, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i won Editor’s Choice, while the Alienware 18 Area-51 took People’s Choice.

Wearables and Audio Excellence

In smartwatches, the Google Pixel Watch 4 won Editor’s Choice, and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic secured People’s Choice.

For true wireless earbuds (TWS), the JBL Tour Pro 3 won Editor’s Choice, while the Apple AirPods Pro 3 claimed People’s Choice.

The Sony WH-1000XM6 won both Editor’s Choice and People’s Choice for Best Headphones of the Year.

TVs and Home Entertainment

Samsung continued its strong performance in the television category. The Samsung Neo QLED QN90F won both Editor’s Choice and People’s Choice for Best TV of the Year.

In the affordable TV segment, the Xiaomi QLED TV FX Pro swept both categories.

For home audio, the Sony Bravia Theatre System 6 won Editor’s Choice and People’s Choice awards.

Design and Innovation

The Dyson Hushjet Purifier Compact won Editor’s Choice for Best Out-of-the-Box Design, while the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge secured the People’s Choice award in the design category.

In photography, the Nikon ZR won Editor’s Choice for Best Camera of the Year, and the Canon R50V took People’s Choice.

A Night Celebrating Innovation

The awards reflected major industry trends in 2025 — including the dominance of AI-powered devices, growing consumer interest in foldables, and continued competition in premium smartphones.
