15-Year Relationship Ends in Noida Car Shooting: Key Facts So Far

A man and a woman were found dead with gunshot injuries inside a parked car in Noida on Saturday morning. Police have indicated that the circumstances point to a suspected murder-suicide.

The incident took place near pillar number 84 on Dadri Road under the jurisdiction of Sector 39 Police Station.

Car Locked from Inside, Gun Found in Man’s Hand

According to police officials, the car was locked from the inside. A pistol was recovered from the man’s hand.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Manisha Singh stated that prima facie evidence suggests the man may have shot the woman before turning the weapon on himself.

Senior officers and a forensic team examined the scene. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and an inquest report has been prepared.

Note Mentions 15-Year Relationship

Police recovered a note from the man that reportedly referred to a 15-year romantic relationship. The note claimed the woman had promised to marry him but was allegedly preparing to marry someone else.

Investigators believe this may have triggered a dispute between the two.

Background of the Deceased

Officials said the man, aged 31, was a resident of Trilokpuri in Delhi, while the 26-year-old woman lived in Sector 101, Noida.

Both had reportedly been missing since Friday, and their families had filed missing persons complaints before the bodies were discovered.

Investigation Underway

Police are continuing their investigation to establish the sequence of events and verify details mentioned in the recovered note.

Authorities have not ruled out further angles and are awaiting post-mortem results and forensic findings to confirm the cause and timeline of death.
