Anant Jeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal won bronze in the mixed team skeet event at the Asian Games 2026, giving both shooters their second medal of the Games. The result also marked India’s first-ever medal in the mixed team skeet event.
India scored 44 points in the four-team final at the Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Gallery. China won gold with 52 points, setting a new world record, while South Korea took silver with 51. Both scores surpassed the previous world record of 47.
Naruka and Parinaaz entered the final in fourth place after scoring 138 in qualification. Naruka hit 70 of 75 targets, while Parinaaz scored 68. Qatar had topped qualification but were eliminated first in the final, securing India a medal.
Strong winds made the final more challenging, but India held its composure to finish third. The bronze completed India’s medal sweep across all three skeet team events at the Games.
Naruka had earlier won men’s team bronze, while Parinaaz was part of India’s women’s team bronze-winning squad. The women’s medal was India’s first-ever Asian Games medal in skeet.
For Naruka, the mixed team bronze added to his previous Asian Games medals, including individual silver and men’s team bronze at Hangzhou 2022. Parinaaz, meanwhile, completed a breakthrough campaign with two bronzes at Aichi-Nagoya.
