IBPS RRB 15th Recruitment 2026 offers 13,706 vacancies for Office Assistants and Officers, with applications closing on September 21.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the notification for IBPS RRB 15th Recruitment 2026, offering 13,706 vacancies for Office Assistants and Officers across Regional Rural Banks. The online application process began on September 1, 2026, and September 21 is the last date to apply and pay the examination fee.
The vacancies include 8,183 Office Assistant posts, 4,256 Officer Scale-I posts, 666 Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer posts and openings for specialist roles including IT, Chartered Accountant, Law, Treasury, Marketing and Agriculture. Officer Scale-III has 220 vacancies.
The age limit varies by post. Office Assistant applicants must be 18 to 28 years old, Officer Scale-I applicants 18 to 30 years, Officer Scale-II applicants 21 to 32 years and Officer Scale-III applicants 21 to 40 years as on September 1, 2026.
Candidates applying for Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I posts generally require a graduation degree and proficiency in the prescribed local language. Specialist and senior officer posts have additional educational and experience requirements.
The application fee is Rs 850 for General, OBC and EWS candidates and Rs 175 for SC, ST and PwD candidates. Selection will involve written examinations, interviews for Officer posts and document verification and medical examination. The PET is scheduled for November 2026, while other examination dates will be announced later.
For candidates planning to apply, September 21 is the key deadline, so this is definitely not a “I’ll fill it tomorrow” form.
