ICAI CA January 2027 Exam Dates for Foundation and Intermediate
ICAI has announced the January 2027 CA exam schedule, including Foundation and Intermediate dates, application deadlines and correction window details.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the schedule for the January 2027 Chartered Accountancy examinations for Foundation and Intermediate courses. The exams will be held across centres in India as well as Bahrain, Dubai and Kathmandu.
The CA Intermediate exams will be conducted in two groups. Group 1 papers are scheduled for January 2, 4 and 6, while Group 2 papers will be held on January 8, 10 and 12. All papers will run from 2 pm to 5 pm, with 15 minutes of advance reading time before the exam.
The CA Foundation exams will take place on January 3, 5, 7 and 9. Papers 1 and 2 will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm, while Papers 3 and 4 will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm. Advance reading time will be available only for Papers 1 and 2.
The online application window will open on November 3, 2026. Candidates can submit forms without a late fee until November 16, while applications with a Rs 600 late fee will be accepted until November 19. The correction window for examination city or medium will remain open from November 20 to 22.
ICAI has also clarified that the exam dates will not be changed even if any scheduled day is later declared a public holiday.
