Agarwal said many online users assume women marry for financial reasons without understanding the reality of their relationships.

She noted that her lifestyle remains relatively simple and that she manages her own finances independently. According to her, she often travels in economy class and shops at thrift stores despite being a public figure.

The actor said such details contradict the idea that she married for wealth.

Relationship With Apurva Padgaonkar

Divya Agarwal married restaurateur and entrepreneur Apurva Padgaonkar in February 2024 in a private ceremony attended by close family members and friends.

The couple had reportedly been in a long-term relationship before their wedding.
