Travel logs, calendars, correspondence and financial paperwork indicate that several of those who publicly minimised their ties maintained repeated contact with Epstein over years. The documents show patterns rather than one-off encounters: multiple meetings, ongoing communication, shared projects and social overlap that contradicts claims of passing familiarity. In some cases, associations continued even after Epstein’s earlier legal troubles were widely reported, raising questions about how ignorance could plausibly persist.

A Pattern of Selective Memory

The disclosures point to a recurring phenomenon in elite scandals: selective amnesia. Relationships once portrayed as valuable are later reframed as trivial when reputational risk appears.
