Apple could announce the date of its iPhone 18 Pro launch event this week, with reports suggesting the company may unveil its next-generation devices at a major event on September 9. If Apple follows its recent pattern, the official event announcement could arrive on August 27.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to be among the biggest launches. Reports suggest Apple may move some Face ID components beneath the display, potentially reducing or removing the Dynamic Island. Both models could feature the new A20 Pro chip and upgraded cameras.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max may receive an exclusive variable-aperture camera, which could offer improved control over lighting and depth of field. It is also expected to feature a larger battery and a slightly thicker design.
Apple’s first foldable iPhone could attract even greater attention. The premium device is rumoured to feature a large internal display and a smaller external screen, with a possible price above $2,000. However, reports suggest it may not include a dedicated telephoto camera or Face ID, instead using Touch ID.
The September event could also introduce the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, a refreshed Apple TV and a new HomePod mini. Other products, including updated Macs and iPads, may arrive later.
All launch details and specifications remain unconfirmed until Apple makes an official announcement.
