IIT Delhi Launches 6-Month Online Agentic AI Certificate Course
IIT Delhi has launched a six-month online Advanced Certificate in Agentic AI covering autonomous systems, LLMs, multi-agent systems, RAG, deployment and enterprise AI.
The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has introduced a six-month online Advanced Certificate in Agentic AI aimed at professionals and learners seeking practical expertise in autonomous artificial intelligence systems. The programme, delivered live by IIT Delhi faculty, focuses on taking AI agents from foundational concepts to enterprise-level deployment.
The course will cover large language models as reasoning engines, autonomous and multi-agent systems, agentic workflows, automation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), deployment and AI governance. Participants will also gain hands-on experience with more than 10 industry tools, including LangChain, AutoGen and CrewAI.
The programme is scheduled to run from September 26, 2026, to March 20, 2027, with live online classes held on Saturdays from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The fee is Rs 1,45,000, excluding 18 per cent GST.
Graduates and diploma holders with at least one year of work experience can apply. Basic Python scripting skills and a conceptual understanding of AI and machine learning are recommended.
Six modules will take participants through Agentic AI foundations, LLM-based reasoning, multi-agent systems, workflows and automation, real-world engineering, and an enterprise capstone. The final project will require learners to design, build and deploy a functional AI agent while addressing reliability, governance, monitoring and human oversight.
