Ranveer Singh, Shilpa Shetty and More Celebs Visit Lalbaugcha Raja
Ranveer Singh, Shilpa Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh and other celebrities visited Lalbaugcha Raja during Mumbai’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
Ranveer Singh was among several Bollywood celebrities who visited Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The actor arrived in a white kurta-pyjama, offered prayers to Lord Ganesha and interacted with devotees gathered outside the popular pandal.
Ranveer was seen greeting young fans and shaking hands with people as he made his way through the venue. Before leaving, he waved at the crowd and blew flying kisses from his SUV. Videos of his visit were later shared on social media.
Several other film personalities also visited Lalbaugcha Raja during the festivities. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh arrived together and offered prayers, while Shilpa Shetty was seen at the pandal in a traditional saree. Producer Ektaa Kapoor and actor Sidharth Malhotra also visited ahead of the promotional campaign for their upcoming project The Vvaan.
Lalbaugcha Raja remains one of the biggest attractions during Mumbai’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations and draws large numbers of devotees every year. The idol, first installed in 1934 in the Lalbaug area, is popularly known as Navsacha Ganpati because of the belief among devotees that prayers made there are fulfilled.
Ranveer is currently working on his upcoming film Pralay. He was recently seen in Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which reportedly crossed Rs 1,800 crore worldwide at the box office.
