SSC CPO SI CAPF Recruitment 2026: 1,871 Vacancies, Apply Online
SSC has announced 1,871 vacancies for Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police and CAPFs, with applications open until September 30, 2026.
The Staff Selection Commission has opened applications for the 2026 recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces. A total of 1,871 vacancies are available, with the application window running from September 10 to September 30, 2026.
Candidates can pay the application fee until October 1, while the correction window is scheduled for October 8 to 10. The examination date will be announced separately. The application fee is Rs 100 for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST and female candidates are exempt.
The standard age limit is 20 to 25 years as on August 1, 2026, with different limits applicable to certain posts, including Sub-Inspector Fire in CISF. Age relaxation will be available according to SSC rules.
Applicants for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and SI (GD) in CAPFs generally need a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Specific educational qualifications apply to the SI Fire post.
The selection process includes Paper 1, a Physical Standard Test and Physical Endurance Test, Paper 2 and a medical examination.
