Actor Rashmika Mandanna recently showcased a series of elegant bridal-style makeup looks that have caught the attention of fans and beauty enthusiasts online.

The makeup was designed by celebrity artist Tanvi Chemburkar, who revealed details about the inspiration and techniques behind the different looks created for wedding-style events.

According to the artist, the overall approach focused on soft glamour, natural skin and balanced makeup so that the jewellery and outfits remained the centre of attention.

Traditional Elegance for the Wedding Look

For the wedding look, Chemburkar said the design process started after seeing the outfit and jewellery. The team decided to create a traditional appearance with a subtle finish.

Mandanna reportedly preferred avoiding the typical heavy kohl-lined eye look often seen in bridal makeup. Instead, the makeup artist chose a lighter approach with thin bronze eyeliner to highlight the eyes without overpowering the accessories.

The skin was kept naturally radiant using moisturiser, sunscreen and face oil, while foundation was largely avoided to maintain a fresh and hydrated appearance.

Dewy Glam for the Sangeet Function

For the sangeet-inspired look, the focus shifted to a slightly more glamorous style while still maintaining balance.

Because the outfit featured sparkle and dramatic elements, the makeup was designed to complement rather than compete with the clothing and jewellery.

The skin was kept dewy and glowing, while glossy lips added a subtle shine. Since the event involved dancing and movement, certain areas of the face were lightly mattified to control oil.

Reception Look with Bold Eye Definition

The reception look, inspired by a sindoor-red sari with a black and gold border, featured a slightly stronger eye focus.

Chemburkar used dull gold eyeshadow combined with softly blended kohl to create a smoky eye effect. Warm brown blush tones were chosen to match the outfit without clashing with its colours.

For durability during a long event, the skin finish was more matte. The lips were styled with lip liner and gloss to maintain a polished but natural appearance.

Chemburkar also shared some general tips for brides-to-be preparing their beauty kits.

She recommended including hydrating primers, sunscreen and setting sprays to maintain healthy skin during long ceremonies. Lip balm, neutral cream blush and long-wear lip liners can also help maintain a fresh look throughout the day.

The makeup artist advised avoiding heavy contouring, excessive baking and overly thick foundation, as these techniques may make skin appear dry or cakey during extended events.
