Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli May Cameo in Hanuman Ansh 2: Producer
Hanuman Ansh 2 could feature possible cameos by Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli as the sequel expands the story of Neem Karoli Baba and his devotees.
Hanuman Ansh is set to continue with a sequel, and producer Namrata Singh has revealed that the makers have approached several well-known devotees of Neem Karoli Baba for possible appearances. Among the names discussed are Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli and Julia Roberts. However, none of the cameos have been confirmed yet.
Singh said some of the personalities already knew about Hanuman Ansh and that the team had reached out to them. The possibility of Anushka and Virat appearing in the sequel has attracted attention because of their reported connection with spirituality and Neem Karoli Baba’s teachings.
According to Singh, Hanuman Ansh 2 will remain focused on Neem Karoli Baba’s life in India and the stories of Indian devotees whose lives were influenced by him. The planned third instalment could later explore the saint’s impact in the West, including his connection to figures such as Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey and Julia Roberts.
Director Vishal Chaturvedi has also confirmed Hanuman Ansh 2. The sequel is expected to explore several locations associated with Neem Karoli Baba, beginning with Firozabad, where he was born, and moving through Agra, Mathura and other significant places.
Hanuman Ansh was planned as the first part of a trilogy inspired by Chaturvedi’s book Divine Detour. The first film, released on August 7, gained momentum through word of mouth and continued its theatrical run, strengthening interest in the next instalment.
