Nani Confirms The Paradise Will Release Without a Trailer
Nani has confirmed that The Paradise will not have a theatrical trailer and said Telugu remains the film’s primary focus instead of calling it a pan-India project.
Nani has confirmed that The Paradise will release without a theatrical trailer. Speaking at the film’s press meet, the actor said the team decided to focus on completing the movie rather than diverting director Srikanth Odela, composer Anirudh Ravichander and other members from their work to create another promotional video.
Nani admitted that he would have liked to release a strong trailer but said the team collectively chose to prioritise the film. The decision also means audiences will enter theatres with fewer details about the story.
The actor also revealed that The Paradise is more than the dark action drama suggested by its posters and teasers. Set in 1980s Secunderabad, the film follows Jadal, a man from an oppressed community who challenges a system that has denied his people basic rights. His relationship with his mother, played by Sonali Kulkarni, forms an important emotional part of the story. Nani described the movie as a beautiful mother-son story and a revolutionary emotional film.
Nani also rejected the “pan-India” label for the project despite its release in multiple languages. He said Telugu remains the film’s primary focus, while hoping audiences in other languages will connect with it as well.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise also stars Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Sampoornesh Babu. The film has a reported runtime of 2 hours and 49 minutes and is scheduled to release worldwide on September 24, 2026.
