CBSE Class 12 Special Exams 2026 for West Asia Students
CBSE will conduct special Class 12 exams in 40 subjects for eligible students in West Asian countries whose 2026 board exams were cancelled.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct fresh Class 12 examinations for eligible students in West Asian countries whose 2026 board exams could not be held due to the situation in the region. The special exams will cover 40 subjects, including 20 academic and 20 skill-based subjects.
The eligible students are those whose 2026 results were declared under CBSE’s Assessment Scheme after the original examinations were cancelled. Both regular and private candidates can appear for subjects of their choice, and the fresh examination result will be final, replacing their earlier assessment-based result.
For regular candidates, the List of Candidates (LOC) must be submitted between September 22 and September 26, 2026. Private candidates must submit their examination forms during the same period. CBSE will announce the examination dates and date sheet after the submission process. No examination fee will be charged.
The exams will be conducted only in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with examination centres remaining unchanged. Students who were absent from the main examinations for any reason, as well as new candidates who did not appear in the 2026 exams, will not be eligible.
CBSE has also clarified that no subject changes will be allowed and no post-result declaration facility will be available. Schools have been directed to inform eligible students and ensure that the September 26 deadline is followed.
