Dhurandhar: The Revenge Songs Eye Grammy Recognition Across Multiple Categories
Songs from Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar: The Revenge, including Aari Aari, Phir Se and Jaiye Sajana, are being promoted for Grammy consideration across several categories. The campaign does not guarantee nominations.
The soundtrack of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, is seeking international recognition through a Grammy consideration campaign led by T-Series and B62 Studios. Several songs from the film have been submitted across different categories, bringing composer Shashwat Sachdev’s work into the global awards conversation.
The campaign includes Phir Se under Best Song Written for Visual Media and Aari Aari under Best Asian Pop Music Performance. Jaan Se Guzarte Hai and Kanhaiyya have been listed for Best Global Music Performance.
Other entries include Jaiye Sajana for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Destiny – Mann Atkeya for Best Rap Performance, Vaari Jaavan for Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Hum Pyaar Karne Wale for Best Remixed Recording.
The film’s soundtrack has also been submitted for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, a category that recognises music collections created for visual productions.
However, consideration is not the same as a Grammy nomination. The entries must meet the Recording Academy’s eligibility rules and proceed through its voting process before nominations are announced.
Meanwhile, director Aditya Dhar recently attended the 72nd National Film Awards ceremony with his wife, actor Yami Gautam, who won Best Actress for Article 370.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is also scheduled for a television premiere on Star Gold on Sunday, October 18, at 7 pm. The film features Ranveer Singh alongside Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan and Arjun Rampal.
