NEET PG 2026 Result by September 30, Answer Key Awaited
NEET PG 2026 results are scheduled by September 30, while candidates await the provisional answer key and recorded response sheets from NBEMS.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is expected to release the provisional answer key and recorded response sheets for NEET PG 2026 soon. However, the board has not announced a specific date for their release.
The NEET PG 2026 result is scheduled to be declared by September 30. For the first time, candidates will receive access to the answer key and recorded responses following Supreme Court directions aimed at improving transparency in the examination process.
The response sheet will allow candidates to view their question IDs, recorded answers and the corresponding correct answers in the provisional key. If NBEMS opens an objection facility, candidates will need to follow the instructions and deadline specified in the official notice.
The NEET PG 2026 examination was held on August 30 in a single shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Of 2,73,096 registered candidates, 2,65,980 appeared for the exam across 1,111 centres in 339 cities. A re-examination was conducted on September 5 for candidates affected at centres in Jaipur.
This year, the exam had 180 questions instead of 200, while the duration remained three hours and 30 minutes. The exam is used for admission to postgraduate medical programmes, including MD, MS and postgraduate diploma courses.
After the result, qualified candidates can check their scorecards and proceed to the counselling and admission process for postgraduate medical seats. Candidates should regularly check the official NBEMS website for updates.
