Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt Join Neetu Kapoor for Ganpati Visarjan

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor came together for their family’s Ganpati visarjan, marking the end of their festive celebrations with prayers, chants and a traditional farewell to Bappa.
Videos from the celebration showed Ranbir greeting the paparazzi and distributing sweets before joining the procession. He later carried the decorated Ganpati idol himself, walking barefoot while the family prepared for the immersion.
Ranbir was dressed in a rust-orange kurta with white trousers, while Alia wore a pink and green traditional outfit. She was seen carrying daughter Raha during the celebrations. Neetu Kapoor, dressed in blue, accompanied the family with a puja thali.
The family was also seen chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya” together, with dhol beats adding to the festive atmosphere. Ranbir kept an arm around his mother during one of the moments, while Alia stood beside them smiling.
The Kapoor family’s Ganpati celebrations often attract attention online, and this year’s visarjan was no exception, with videos from the ceremony quickly circulating among fans.
On the work front, Ranbir is preparing for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part One, scheduled for a Diwali 2026 release in India. Alia Bhatt, meanwhile, is associated with the upcoming production venture Don’t Be Shy, following her appearance in Alpha.
Bappa may have left for the year, but the Kapoor family made sure the farewell came with sweets, chants and plenty of paparazzi attention.
