UP PGT Teacher Recruitment 2026: 2,607 Vacancies, Apply Online
UPESSC has announced 2,607 PGT Teacher vacancies for 2026, with applications open from September 18 to October 17.
The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has released the notification for UP PGT Teacher Recruitment 2026, inviting applications for 2,607 Post Graduate Teacher vacancies. The online application process began on September 18, 2026, and candidates can apply until October 17, 2026.
Applicants must be between 21 and 62 years of age as on July 1, 2026, with applicable age relaxation as per the recruitment rules. The application fee is Rs 1,500 for General, EWS and OBC candidates, Rs 750 for SC and ST candidates and Rs 500 for PwD candidates.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant subject. Subject-specific educational requirements should be checked in the official recruitment notification before submitting the application.
The selection process will consist of a written examination, interview or viva-voce and document verification. The UP PGT Teacher examination is scheduled to be conducted on December 15 and 16, 2026. The last date for fee payment is also October 17, while corrections can be made until October 21.
Candidates should complete their applications before the deadline and carefully verify their subject eligibility and documents. With more than 2,600 vacancies on offer, keeping the application deadline bookmarked is probably a good idea.
