Actor Allu Arjun has been at the centre of online discussions after claims surfaced about an alleged list of 42 dos and don’ts shared before meeting him. However, his Pushpa co-star Rajsekhar Aningi has publicly defended the actor, calling the allegations baseless.
Rajsekhar, who appeared in Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa 2: The Rule, shared a video on social media supporting Allu Arjun. He said he worked closely with the actor for nearly four years and described him as respectful and grounded on set.
In the video, Rajsekhar stated that he found it difficult to believe the claims. He shared an example from their shoot, saying that during breaks, while many actors received snacks separately through assistants, Allu Arjun would often eat alongside crew members without hesitation.
He added that the actor greets artists and technicians on set and maintains what he described as dignity and grace in his interactions. According to Rajsekhar, portraying Allu Arjun as someone who imposes strict behavioural rules does not match his experience of working with him.
The controversy began after brand strategist Kaveri Baruah, speaking on a podcast, claimed that she was given a list of 42 instructions before meeting the actor. She alleged that the list included strict behavioural guidelines.
Following the clip going viral, Allu Arjun’s team issued a statement calling the claims unfounded. They also stated that legal action had been initiated against the strategist over the remarks.
The podcast video has since been removed from YouTube and Instagram. The podcaster later alleged that the removal followed harassment, though no official details have been confirmed regarding that claim.
The situation has sparked debate online, with supporters and critics sharing their views. As of now, the matter appears to be heading toward legal scrutiny, following the actor’s team’s statement.
Allu Arjun, who recently gained widespread attention for his work in Pushpa 2, has not personally commented on the controversy.
