Malayalam actor Shiva Hariharan has dismissed claims that Telugu star Allu Arjun follows a strict list of 42 dos and don’ts on set.
The controversy began after a brand strategist alleged on a podcast that she received a detailed list of instructions before meeting the actor. Allu Arjun’s team has since denied the claims and initiated legal action, calling the allegations baseless.
Co-Star Speaks Out
Shiva Hariharan, who recently worked with Allu Arjun on an advertisement shoot, described the reports as a “total myth.”
In an Instagram post, Shiva shared photos from the shoot and wrote that Arjun was among the “coolest and kindest” actors he has worked with. He added that Arjun personally offered to take pictures with co-actors and ensured they received the photos after the shoot.
Shiva said he has been a long-time fan of the actor and that the recent experience strengthened his admiration.
What Sparked the Row
The controversy began after brand strategist Kaveri Baruah spoke about her alleged experience on a podcast. She claimed that before meeting Allu Arjun, she was given a note listing multiple instructions.
According to her, the guidelines reportedly included strict behavioural expectations during the interaction.
After the comments circulated widely online, Allu Arjun’s team issued a statement rejecting the claims. The statement said the actor has always conducted himself with dignity and honour and that legal action is being initiated for defamation.
The team also urged people not to spread unverified information.
Upcoming Projects
Allu Arjun is currently working on a pan-India film directed by Atlee, tentatively referred to as AA22xA6, which also stars Deepika Padukone. He is also confirmed to collaborate with director Lokesh Kanagaraj on another project.
The matter remains under legal consideration, and no further official details have been released.
