Aziz Ansari is scheduled to perform at the iconic London venue on July 11 as part of his Hypothetical Tour. However, a search listing for the event reportedly showed Vir Das’s image in place of Ansari’s.

Vir Das shared a screenshot of the listing on Instagram after it was sent to him. The image showed details of Aziz Ansari’s show but featured Vir’s photograph.

Tagging Aziz Ansari, Vir wrote humorously, “Guess we all do look kind of the same.” In the caption, he clarified that his own show at the venue is on April 1 and added a playful note about the mix-up.

Fans responded with jokes and memes in the comments section, with some calling it an unexpected plot twist.

The image on the Royal Albert Hall website has since been updated to reflect Aziz Ansari’s correct photograph. Tickets for Ansari’s July performance are yet to go on sale.
