Actor Yash’s quick reflexes caught everyone’s attention during the pre-release event of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups in Chennai after a metal object unexpectedly flew towards Kiara Advani.
A video from the event, which has since gone viral on social media, shows Kiara seated beside Yash in the front row when the object came flying from the stage. Reacting instantly, Yash raised his hands in an attempt to shield Kiara from any possible injury. The object eventually fell just before her chair, and no one was hurt.
Fans praised the Kannada superstar for his quick reaction and protective gesture. Several social media users shared the clip, describing Yash as a gentleman and applauding his instinctive response during the unexpected incident.
The moment came during the promotional event for Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, one of the most anticipated upcoming films starring Yash. Kiara Advani, who shares screen space with him in the project, also thanked the actor during her speech and spoke about his support on the sets.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic features Yash in dual roles as an estranged father and son. The film also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
Backed by KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the multilingual film was simultaneously shot in Kannada and English and will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is scheduled to hit theatres on August 26.
