CBSE Board Exams 2027: Schools Asked to Verify Student Details
CBSE has asked affiliated schools to verify student, parent and subject details carefully before registration and LOC submission for the 2027 board exams.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked affiliated schools to carefully verify student and subject details before submitting registration information and the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2027 board examinations.
The board said registration for Classes 9 and 12 and LOC submission for Classes 10 and 12 will begin shortly. Schools have been directed to ensure that all information is accurate and submitted within the prescribed timelines.
Details requiring verification include students' names as recorded in admission registers, dates of birth, gender, category and the full names and spellings of parents or guardians. Schools must also ensure that subjects are registered according to each student's approved scheme of studies.
Photographs and signatures must be uploaded in the required format. CBSE has warned schools that incorrect information could create difficulties during the examination process and lead to requests for corrections later.
The board said previous examination cycles witnessed repeated errors involving student and parent details, incorrect subject codes or subjects, as well as delayed or missing LOC submissions. Such mistakes have caused operational difficulties and affected examination timelines.
CBSE has therefore urged schools to prepare and verify all required information before submitting the data. The advisory has also been shared with several school education organisations and institutions for circulation among affiliated schools.
The board has not yet announced the exact opening date for registration and LOC submission, stating that the processes will begin shortly.
