NEET PG 2026: Supreme Court Plea Challenges NBEMS Question Disclosure
The Supreme Court plea seeks access to actual NEET-PG 2026 questions and answer options for candidates to verify their scores.
A plea filed in the Supreme Court has challenged the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) over the way question-wise information was disclosed following NEET-PG 2026.

The petition argues that candidates were given Question IDs, correct-answer IDs, recorded responses and marks, but not the actual questions and complete answer options that appeared on their individual screens. According to the plea, this makes it difficult for candidates to independently verify whether their answers were correctly mapped and evaluated.

NEET-PG 2026 was conducted on August 30, with 2,65,960 candidates appearing. Results were declared on September 24, while question-wise evaluation details were made available through candidate logins on October 1.

The petition seeks complete candidate-wise examination records, including the questions in the sequence shown during the test, answer options in their original order, recorded responses, final correct answers and marks awarded.

It also seeks a downloadable copy of the records and a time-bound mechanism through which candidates can raise objections after reviewing their individual question papers.

The plea refers to an earlier NEET-PG case involving disclosure of question IDs, answer keys and candidate responses and argues that similar concerns have emerged across examination cycles.

With counselling approaching, the petition seeks greater transparency before the admission process moves forward. Because apparently, “here’s your Question ID, good luck figuring out what it was” isn’t quite the transparency candidates were asking for.
