Ramayana: Part 1, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, could receive a special screening at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on November 5. The proposed event is reportedly being planned for the film’s worldwide release day, although official confirmation is awaited.

The makers are said to be seeking the necessary permissions to organise the screening for political leaders. Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi and director Nitesh Tiwari are reportedly expected to attend.

Reports also suggest that the team is planning separate premieres in Mumbai and Delhi. The Mumbai event could take place at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). Details of both events remain unconfirmed.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the mythological epic features Ranbir as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Ravi Dubey plays Lakshman, while Sunny Deol portrays Hanuman.

The ensemble cast also includes Rakul Preet Singh, Lara Dutta, Vivek Oberoi, Arun Govil and Indira Krishnan.

The makers have released promotional material highlighting the film’s large-scale visuals and action sequences. A new poster also features Jatayu, the revered bird who attempts to rescue Sita after Ravana abducts her. Anupam Kher voices the character.

Planned as a two-part cinematic saga, Ramayana: Part 1 is scheduled for worldwide release on November 5 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The second instalment is slated for Diwali 2027.
