UGC NET June 2026 Results Out for English, Commerce and Sociology
NTA has released the UGC NET June 2026 results for English, Commerce and Sociology, with candidates able to download their scorecards online.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the UGC NET June 2026 results for English, Commerce and Sociology. Candidates who appeared for the re-examination can now check their results and download scorecards through the official UGC NET portal.
The results were announced on September 17 after the three subjects were re-examined on September 9 and 10. The re-examination was conducted at 454 centres across 272 cities. Of the 1,96,491 candidates registered for the three subjects, 1,20,355 appeared for the examination.
According to the NTA, 824 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), while 11,610 candidates became eligible for Assistant Professor positions. Another 23,154 candidates qualified under the PhD-only category.
Candidates can access their scorecards by visiting the official UGC NET website, selecting the June 2026 result link and entering their login credentials. After submitting the details, they can view and download their scorecard for future use.
The provisional answer keys and recorded responses were made available from September 10 to 13, during which candidates could submit objections. Subject experts reviewed the challenges before the results were prepared using the final answer keys.
Candidates are advised to verify the details on their scorecards and follow the official portal for further updates regarding eligibility verification and subsequent academic processes.
