In Tel Aviv, passengers were directed to bomb shelters as sirens sounded. Several global airlines suspended or rerouted flights due to airspace restrictions across the Middle East.

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian condemned the strikes and warned of consequences. Iranian officials described the attacks as a serious escalation and vowed retaliation.

Israel’s defence minister Israel Katz stated that the strikes were aimed at removing threats but did not elaborate on operational details.
