Noida Youth Shot Dead at Doorstep, 2 Held

A young man was shot dead outside his house in Greater Noida on Tuesday in what police suspect to be a case linked to an old rivalry.

The incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Ecotech-I Police Station in Uttar Pradesh.

Victim Identified

The victim has been identified as Nitin, a resident of Luksar village and son of Phire. According to police, he was allegedly attacked by Sachin and his associates.

Officials said preliminary findings suggest the crime may have stemmed from an earlier dispute.

Incident Captured on CCTV

CCTV footage from the area reportedly shows several men confronting Nitin near his doorstep. The video appears to show him being dragged to the ground before shots were fired.

A woman can also be seen stepping out of a nearby house during the incident. Police are examining the footage as part of the investigation.

Nitin sustained critical injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. Doctors later declared him dead during treatment.

Police Action

Senior police officers and a forensic team visited the crime scene soon after receiving information. An FIR has been registered based on a complaint filed by the family.

Police said two suspects have been taken into custody following raids and analysis of CCTV footage. Multiple teams have been formed to trace and arrest the remaining accused.

Officials stated that the law and order situation in the area remains under control. Further investigation is underway.
