Indian-Origin Influencer Stabbed to Death in Canada

An Indian-origin social media influencer and YouTuber, Nancy Grewal, was fatally stabbed in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, according to local authorities.

The 45-year-old, who was originally from Punjab, was reportedly known for sharing commentary on social and political developments related to the region on social media platforms.

Police respond to stabbing report

According to the LaSalle Police Service, officers and emergency medical teams responded to a report of a stabbing shortly before 9:30 pm.

Authorities said Grewal was found with serious stab wounds when they arrived at the scene. She was transported to a hospital by Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services, where she later died from her injuries.

Police expressed condolences to her family and friends in a statement released after the incident.
