Dupahiya Season 2 Review: Paper Leak, 5G Tower Rumours and Village Chaos
Dupahiya Season 2 returns with paper leaks, 5G tower rumours and fresh village drama.
Dhadakpur is back, and this time the village has somehow found even more reasons to panic. Dupahiya Season 2 brings back Banwari Jha, Roshni, Amavas and Inspector Mithilesh, while introducing fresh conflicts around a mobile tower, competitive exams and an alleged paper-leak network.

Banwari, played by Gajraj Rao, continues to deal with personal and professional troubles, while his daughter Roshni faces an SSC examination with barely a week left to prepare. Her exam pressure also brings the show into the familiar territory of shortcuts, ambition and the desperation surrounding competitive exams.

Meanwhile, a proposed 5G tower on Banwari's barren land becomes the centre of village controversy. Rumours about radiation, infertility and even diseases spread rapidly, turning what should have been a simple development project into a full-blown political and social battle.

Paper leaks add a timely twist

The paper-leak storyline gives Inspector Mithilesh a bigger role and adds a more serious layer to the otherwise comic setting. The makers reportedly wrote the track before several similar real-world controversies emerged, making its timing particularly striking.

The problem is that Season 2 has perhaps too many things happening at once. The exam storyline, tower controversy, police investigation, village politics and romance between Roshni and Amavas compete for screen time.

The humour still works best when the characters themselves create the chaos. Gajraj Rao remains effective as Banwari, while the ensemble keeps Dhadakpur lively. However, some jokes feel stretched, and the season occasionally loses the effortless charm that made the first instalment work.

Dupahiya Season 2 is still an entertaining return to its quirky village world, but its crowded storytelling prevents every subplot from getting enough room. The paper-leak and 5G tower tracks add relevance, while the familiar characters provide most of the laughs.
