Hanuman Ansh Song Parvati Becomes India’s No. 1, Ranks No. 2 Globally
Hanuman Ansh song Parvati has topped YouTube Music’s weekly India chart and reached No. 2 globally, taking its devotional sound to a massive young audience.
Hanuman Ansh song Parvati has turned into a major music-chart success, topping YouTube Music’s weekly songs chart in India and reaching No. 2 on the global chart. The Bundeli folk-inspired devotional track has crossed 100 million views across YouTube and is also gaining traction through Instagram Reels and other social media platforms.
According to YouTube Charts, Parvati recorded more than 47.2 million views in India during the charting period, placing it at No. 1 nationally. Globally, it sits behind Shakira and Burna Boy’s Dai Dai.
Written, composed and sung by Sadhu Tiwari, the track has moved beyond the traditional devotional audience, particularly among younger listeners. Apparently, the algorithm has decided bhakti can absolutely compete with the global pop playlist.
The song received another high-profile moment when Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a Bhajan Clubbing event in Delhi, where Tiwari performed Parvati. Videos showed Modi clapping along and playing a khanjari during the performance.
Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh follows Lakshmi Narayan on a spiritual journey that eventually leads to his transformation into Neem Karoli Baba. The film, reportedly made on a budget of around Rs 2 crore, has also recorded significant box-office success, reportedly crossing Rs 410 crore worldwide.
