Tej Pratap Yadav has revisited his troubled marriage to Aishwarya Rai on Rise & Fall Season 2, alleging that their relationship began deteriorating within three months of their wedding in May 2018.
Speaking to fellow contestant Niharika Tiwari, the former Bihar minister described the marriage as strained by frequent arguments and incompatible lifestyles. He also claimed that the marriage had taken place under pressure.
Tej Pratap alleged that disagreements sometimes escalated into shouting matches. He said he occasionally avoided returning home and stayed with friends instead.

The politician further said he had secretly recorded videos of some arguments and later submitted them as evidence in court. He described the experience as deeply distressing and said it continued to affect him emotionally.
Tej Pratap married Aishwarya Rai, daughter of Bihar politician Chandrika Roy, in May 2018. Their relationship later ended in a public divorce dispute.
