Social media users are questioning whether a magic segment featuring mentalist Suhani Shah on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent Season 2 was scripted. The discussion began after a Reddit user alleged that the performance was pre-planned and claimed that an audience member was paid Rs 20,000 for not revealing details about the show.
The claims relate to Bonus Episode 4, released on September 27 as a members-only episode on Samay Raina’s YouTube channel. Suhani Shah appeared alongside actor Ayushmann Khurrana and comedians Kullu and Rajat Sood.
In the Reddit post, a user identifying herself as an audience member claimed she briefly left her seat during the recording and returned while Shah was performing. She alleged that she saw a man behind the curtains wearing a shirt with “Anubhav” written on it. According to her account, she later believed the observation was connected to the magic act.
The user further claimed that after she discussed what she had seen with friends, one of them contacted Samay Raina’s team and allegedly received Rs 20,000 in exchange for keeping the information private.
The allegations later spread to X, where users questioned the authenticity of the segment and the show's format. However, the claims remain social media allegations and have not been independently established.
