Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has reacted to a viral exchange involving actor-politician and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan during the INDIA bloc’s protest against the Election Commission in Delhi.

In the video, a reporter asks Bachchan about a protest placard being carried by Trinamool Congress MP Derek O’Brien. Bachchan tells the reporter not to twist the issue and, when asked to explain it, responds, “Nahi bataungi” (I won’t tell). She is also seen pushing the microphone away.

Kangana shared the clip on Instagram Stories and mocked the response, writing that protesters were sitting on dharna to make a point before joking about Bachchan’s refusal to explain what that point was.

The exchange took place during the INDIA bloc’s October 6 protest, in which opposition leaders marched towards the Election Commission and demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Several leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, were later detained following a prolonged sit-in at Akashvani Bhavan.

Kangana and Bachchan have previously clashed publicly on social media, making the latest exchange another instance of their contrasting political positions.
